The Big Word Project – A bit like the Million Dollar Homepage, but with words.

The Big Word Project is a project by two Belfast students, Paddy Donnelly and Lee Munroe.

The Big Word Project has been set up by Paddy Donnelly and Lee Munroe, two Masters students from Northern Ireland, who are exploring what different words mean to different people. The project allows you to purchase a word from our list to represent your site. Your site will then represent this word in our list and when people click on it, they will be taken to your site. The project is aimed at changing definitions and creating a new tapestry of words, meaning altogether different things.

It’s a good laugh going through the site and checking out the new ‘definitions’, and they sell word for $1 per letter. I’ve already bought Birdie of course. Nice website design too, well done lads.

Definatly an interesting concept. i was so intrigued i had a look and i agree with your comments. i also stumbled across projectword. this also offers the same opportunity to advertise your website/blogs through defining a word of your choice. each link to your website helps to increase your rank insearch engines. so i bought a word from each. have a look, www.projectword.co.uk. i think this will be of some interest to you.
